At New Erra Doors we use only the finest grade, kiln dried, hand selected lumber from South America and Domestic sources. All of our sources are managed by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and the rain forest alliance to ensure good harvesting practices and as little environmental impact as possible. Our lumber is kiln dried below 8% moisture content before it is used in production and we re-check each door's content before finishing to ensure a quality product. Exterior wood products finished in our shop are stained with Benjamin Moore wood stains and sealed with ZAR water based polyurethane clear coats. Interior wood products are sealed with ZAR oil based polyurethane or a professional grade lacquer finish depending on the product ordered.

We use glass from nationally recognized manufacturers such as Oldcastle Glass Inc. and Glass Craft Inc. All of our glass is precision cut for each door and glazed at our facility to ensure the best possible fit and durability. We offer a wide range of glass choices from clear tempered all the way up to impact rated sealed leaded glass deco units.

Our operating hardware comes from Hagar Hardware Co., Deltana Architectural Hardware Co., or GU multi-point systems and is available in a wide range of colors and styles. We also offer custom designed wrought iron accessories and door pulls for a completely custom look.

New Erra Doors manufactures hand forged wrought iron for each unit with great care and attention to detail. Each piece of decorative iron is individually fit for the door they are made for. We use a proven, durable, Sherwin Williams automotive finish on our iron pieces. Powder coated finishes are also available for coastal or extreme environments.
