New Erra Doors has the expertise to help you create the perfect wrought iron door for your home. Our people can design and build any style of wrought iron door you desire. We handcraft each piece of iron and the time and effort that our artisans put into their work is evident in the finished product. Our iron is available in standard black, bronze highlighted, or silver highlighted colors. We also offer custom colors made to your given specifications. Using a design process that is similar to our custom wood door process, we can make any size or pattern wrought iron door you desire. We can also create units with transoms, sidelights or both. Wrought iron doors add distinct originality to any entry. We also design wine cellar doors and courtyard gates to match the wrought iron doors we make. We use Sherwin Williams highest-grade automotive type finishes on our iron products to ensure confidence in the quality of the finished product.

These units are constructed with matching fully insulated metal jambs and include a pale wood threshold. The jambs are built to hold heavy-duty Q-Lon PVB weather-stripping to ensure a good weather tight seal along the entire surface of the door. Our doors are insulated with polyurethane foam. We machine our doors to receive any style of standard bore locksets with a 2 3/8" backset. You will not need to purchase specialty or hard to find hardware to fit in our units. Our units will receive all types of glass using a fixed exterior stop and a movable interior stop. The iron inserts are hinged so they can be swung out of the way to clean the glass on the outside.

Our units are also shipped with a stain grade wood extension jamb, 3 1/2" Howe casing, and a 2" exterior brickmolding. This ensures a custom finished look that sets us apart from other iron door manufacturers. We also make our doors 2" thick which gives them extra insulation and a very solid feel when opened or closed. We use heavy-duty hinges and internal flushbolts on our double door entries. All of these details come together to give a rich finished look with great attention to the smallest details.

We offer our doors with a wide range of Emtek hardware pre-installed if you so desire. This eliminates the need for drilling any extra holes in the finished doors to install the door handles and latches. Other hardware set-ups such as pulls and mortise cases are available with any of our iron doors upon request.
